F1 Fantasy Round 12: Amazing Alonso

What a drive by Alonso to earn points for Aston Martin.  

Fun fact: Alonso is now the only driver to score points in every Dutch GP since the 21st century.

24 points in F1 Fantasy; unfortunately none of us picked him up. 

Keven’s Cope and Delusion (Current Race: 271 / 1st, Overall: 2769 / 1st) 

I activated my wealth this weekend by transferring in Leclerc (39) for Hadjar (DNS), officially running 4 premium assets. I did have to pick up Stroll (-10, DNF) to afford this though. 

Clark’s Team (Current Race: 264 / 2nd, Overall: 2389 / 5th) 

Clark made some sweet moves this weekend with Red Bull Lawson (12) and Perez (8) doing some honest work. 

Josh’s Just in time for WW3 (Current Race: 257 / 3rd, Overall: 2692 / 2nd) 

No more Hadjar (DNS), Josh went with Gasly (8) which was a serviceable pick up. 

Jason’s Hope and Depression (Current Race: 248 / 4th, Overall: 2583 / 3rd) 

Jason also picked up Red Bull Lawson (12) and Stroll wasn't able to (-10, DNF) to match his performance in the prior weekend. The only difference between Jason and my team is Antonelli instead of Red Bull Lawson, which is quite a large gap in budget. 

Vinny’s Jacqui’s Favourite Pole (Current Race: 217/ 5th, Overall: 2282 / 6th) 

Going McLaren (80) over Ferrari (74) is a 6 point advantage, but it hurts when the additional budget forces you into Bottas (-10, DNF). Bearman (-13, DNF) and Haas haven't been having a good time for the last several races. 

Brendan’s B-Team is the A-Team (Current Race: 215 / 6th, Overall: 2471 / 4th) 

Racing Bulls Lawson (-35, DNS) was extremely damaging; now we know what happens when a driver switches teams. Formula 1 Fantasy splits the teams for the same driver for a 47 point swing. 

Tim’s Trolley Cart Racing (Current Race: 146 / Last, Overall: 2140 / Last) 

The last remaining team running a budget constructor in Racing Bulls (22), and they aren't able to match the heights of the big 4.
