F1 Fantasy Round 17: Radio on Max Volume

Another Ferrari masterclass when Red Bull with no radio communicates better than them. 

Keven’s Cope and Delusion (Current Race: 281 / 1st, Overall: 4036 / 1st) 

Just bought a 24 pack of Red Bull and got inspired to triple up on Red Bull in my F1 Fantasy team. I’m the first to move on from Antonelli (33 x 2) to Verstappen (53 x 2) and it’s an initial success while Toto parentally instructs Kimi to finish the race and secure the WDC. 

Jason’s Hope and Depression (Current Race: 240 / 2nd, Overall: 3967 / 2nd) 

The budget friendly Red Bull and Ferrari combo over Mercedes pays off once again as Ferrari outscores Mercedes by 26 points. And it could have been more if Hamilton didn’t fall from P3 to P6 after choosing not to pit during the VSC. 

Jason’s hot run of form moves him up to second place and the depression is converting into hope as he may potentially win the Baddy League. Just 70 points away from clinching the WDC for the inaugural season of the F1 Baddy League. 

Josh’s Just in time for WW3 (Current Race: 204 / 4th, Overall: 3939 / 3rd) 

Has anyone ever noticed how the Audi drivers resemble an Asian household staple? 

Bortoleto (-29) didn’t get the memo as he DNF’d both the Sprint and the Race. A serviette to wipe his tears as Josh gets overtaken by Jason. 

Vinny’s Jacqui’s Favourite Pole (Current Race: 200 / 5th, Overall: 3311 / 6th) (x3 Boost) 

Vinny delooloo had to go to the toilet after this one as he transferred out Red Bull to bring in Audi as his constructor. While Audi compared to Red Bull was a 75 point swing, Vinny activated his x3 Boost on Russell (17 x 3 = 51) and Verstappen (53 x 2 = 106). These are the plays required to make a big comeback, and to Vinny’s credit, he did improve from P7 to P6. 

Brendan’s B-Team is the A-Team (Current Race: 205 / 3rd, Overall: 3734 / 4th) 

Weeks ago, Colapinto took out both Norris and Gasly at Baku. Norris made some very angry comments and thus began the Argentinian curse. Colapinto fans attacked Norris on social media and Norris subsequently collided into Piastri during this weekend’s Sprint. Unfortunately for Colapinto, the curse remains as he DNF’s the Sprint and the Race for -28 points. 

Clark’s Team (Current Race: 196 / 6th, Overall: 3590 / 5th) 

It was over before it even started with another week of Red Bull Lawson (-35). 

Tim’s Trolley Cart Racing (Current Race: 157 / Last, Overall: 3300 / Last) 

The only unlucky soul to have triple negatives with Colapinto, Bortoleto and Perez. The $3.0m drivers continue to show why they should not be selected.
