F1 Fantasy Race 6: Pit Lane Penalty Party

Fans: Monaco isn't that exciting

FIA: Say no more, 5 second penalty for you and you and you again.

But racing isn't what we care about when it comes to the F1.

These are where the important stories are held, not the riff raff of Antonelli winning his fifth race in a row.

Jason's Hope and Depression (Current Race: 232/ 1st, Overall: 1332 / 3rd) (Final Fix)

We have the first final fix used, and it doesn't get much better than this. From Leclerc DNFing (-20 * 2 = -40) to Antonelli (45 x 2 = 90), this was a whopping 130 point swing for Jason, skyrocketing him into the top score this weekend.

Successfully avoiding all 6 DNF's this race (mainly Bearman and Bottas) was well planned with the belief in Audi, and finally hopping on board the holy trinity of Antonelli, Mercedes and Ferrari paid dividends.

Vinny’s Jacqui’s Favourite Pole (Current Race: 163 / 2nd, Overall: 1099 / 5th)

Just another weekend where Antonelli (110) and Mercedes (70) do all the heavy lifting for Vinny, no thanks to the likes of Bearman (-19) and Bottas (-20).

If this keeps up, Antonelli might get a back injury which could open the door for the return of Verstappen. Just need to make sure Verstappen doesn't accidentally take his own advice again.

Josh’s Just in time for WW3 (Current Race: 147 / 3rd, Overall: 1337 / 2nd)

From triple Racing Bulls to zero Racing Bulls:

Pre-Transfer

Post-Transfer

Lawson (16)

Bortoleto (5)

Lindblad (21)

Hulkenburg (3)

Racing Bulls (42)

Haas (-8)

Total (79)

Total (0)

For a net loss of 79 points.

Lindblad had an absolute masterclass of a strategy to not pit on both yellow flags only to get the red flag he needed. Thanks Stroll.

Brendan’s B-Team is the A-Team (Current Race: 133 / 4th, Overall: 1220 / 4th)

McLaren (17) disappoints once again with another DNF to Lando Norris this time.

Thankfully, Brendan has Lawson (16) holding the fort.

Clark’s Team (Current Race: 131 / 5th, Overall: 1088 / 6th)

It's been 5 races of Antonelli outperforming Russell, and Clark continues to keep the faith in Russell.

Russell and Leclerc have unlocked a new DLC of depression now that Hamilton is ahead of Russell in the championship.

Tim’s Trolley Cart Racing (Current Race: 125 / 6th, Overall: 1053 / Last)

Tim made 5 transfers this week:

Pre-Transfer

Post-Transfer

Russell (0)

Antonelli (110)

Hadjar (23)

Sainz (-3)

Gasly (12)

Ocon (12)

Bearman (-19)

Colapinto (0)

Racing Bulls (42)

Haas (-8)

Total (58)

Total (111)

Total excluding Russell (58)

Total excluding Antonelli (1)

It really goes to show how difficult those budget tier selections are on a race by race basis. He may have won out with Ocon over Bearman, but nothing else went right.

Tim was also unlucky to have some team collateral with Colapinto (and Hulkenberg) driving into Sainz.

Keven’s Cope and Delusion (Current Race: 74 / Last, Overall: 1409 / 1st)

I transferred Antonelli to Leclerc for some copium this weekend for a 136 point swing.

Second and third place are now within 100 points of making a comeback.

Highest Race Score (Sprint Weekend): Jason’s 402 points in Race 2: China GP

Highest Race Score (Non-Sprint Weekend): Keven’s 249 points in Race 1: Australian GP

Highest Race Score (Limitless / Triple DRS): Jason's 224 points in Race 5: Canadian GP
