FPL GW 22: Waltzing with Wirtz

Derek’s Cole Fired Power (GW 59 / 1st, Total 1,293 / 1st)
Derek can do no wrong. This week he transfers out Semenyo (2) and Cunha (4) for B. Fernandes (10) and Wirtz (10), who both make the team of the week.
He also has that Chelsea representation with Sanchez (11) (top goalkeeper of the week) and even Jan Paul Van Hecke (6) pulls out an assist and two bonus points.
Duy’s Duzor (GW 53 / 2nd, Total 1,192 / 2nd)
Sesko scores two goals last week into not playing a single minute this week. Shaw (5) once again returns points on the bench, but I don’t think anyone predicted Man United beating Man City 2-0.
Anderson (5) is just an honest worker. 12+ defensive contributions six weeks running.
And Duy can be proud for being the first person in the Baddy League to hop on Wirtz (10).
Dan’s A-Cunha Matata (GW 32 / 5th, Total 1,172 / 3rd)
Hall (9) just about the only thing that went right for Dan this week. Raya (6) and team mascot Cunha (4) the only other returners.
O’Reilly (-1) has been shocking with 4 points in 5 weeks. Man City haven’t gotten a single win in their past 4 matches.
Sandra’s SZ (GW 27 / Last, Total 1,166 / 4th)
$4m defender Mukiele (6) (now $4.4m) was Sandra’s top scorer of the week, which pretty much sums up how bad her week went.
Van de Ven (0) once again decides not to return when fielded. Need to bench him if you want him to return (throwback to those 23 points on Duy’s legendary bench).
Brian’s The Liabilities (GW 48 / 4th, Total 1,150 / 5th)
Wirtz (10) and Chalobah (8) were some excellent transfers in, but it also involved transferring out Dorgu (15). That’s simply FPL for you when you think you make a sensible decision transferring out a player before they face the top 2 teams on the ladder.
It’s not FPL classic related, but Brian made 6 transfers in his FPL draft team, and I appreciate the effort.
Keven’s The Assets (GW 52 / 3rd, Total 1,147 / Last)
I thought I was having a great week when I transferred out Saka (1) and Lewis-Potter (1) for Enzo (6) and Gabriel (8), but I still only got the third best score of the week. Small victories at least.
Bless up,
Keven
