FPL GW 26: Title Trouble after Arsenal Double

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHA Arsenal may not have given us the best double gameweek showing for FPL points, but them potentially bottling the league would be absolute cinema.

Derek’s Cole Fired Power (GW 76 / 2nd, Total 1,551 / 1st) (Triple Captain)

Derek continues to nail his decisions, triple captaining Rice, one of the few Arsenal players who did well, for a whopping 42 points, widening his lead in the Baddy League once again.

Just one great decision to cover most of the disappointing scores in the rest of his team, and choosing Enzo (2) over Palmer (12) is probably the biggest disappointment of them all.

Duy’s Duzor (GW 64 / 4th, Total 1,437 / 2nd)

Differential Duy was willing to get rid of his boy Sesko (8) for captain Gyokeres (3 x 2 = 6) which resulted in a net negative on the smart, logical moves this week.

Honest worker Anderson (5) keeps on keeping on. This guy has averaged 4.9 points per week for the last 10 gameweeks. At this point I should really get him into my team (spoiler: I didn’t and transferred someone else in).

Sandra’s SZ (GW 77 / 1st, Total 1,408 / 3rd) (Triple Captain)

Triple captaining Rice (42) paid off handsomely, earning Sandra the top weekly score in the Baddy League.

Transferring out O’Reilly (13) for Timber (3) seemed great in theory, but it actually cost Sandra 10 points, but it was thankfully still a net positive on the smart, logical moves this week.

Keven’s The Assets (GW 71 / 3rd, Total 1,402 / 4th) (Triple Captain)

Triple Arsenal defence stonks /s. Ever since I started focusing on pure FPL information in these newsletters, my results have drastically improved.

Triple captaining Gabriel (21) may have been slightly disappointing, but I’m just glad he didn’t get red carded or score an own goal, and he almost did both.

Dan’s A-Cunha Matata (GW 57 / Last, Total 1,389 / 5th)

Dan vice captained Semenyo (14) with captain Saliba who didn’t play the first match. Prayers submitted, hopefully Saliba doesn’t play the second match either.

Prayers unanswered, Saliba (1 x 2 =2) of course had to come back to play the second match just to ruin Dan’s week.

At least the punt on Madueke (13) paid off, he was the best differential this week.

Brian’s The Liabilities (GW 62 / 5th, Total 1,382 / Last) (Wildcard)

Welcome to the Gabriel (7) club Brian. He was the only Arsenal defender to come out with a somewhat acceptable score.

He is also on the Joao Pedro (10) hype train. Wish I had him so I could captain him against Burnley in GW27, the only team with a fixture difficulty rating of 1.

Bless up,

Keven
