FPL GW 4: Duzor Dethrones the Cole-petition

FPL Classic

Duy’s Duzor (GW 85 / 1st, Total 259 / 1st)

Duy reclaims top spot with the highest score in the Baddy League this week.

His switch from Gakpo (3) to Semenyo (13) in GW 2 proved to be the correct call.

Built on a strong GW 1 foundation, captain Salah (18), Haaland (13), Joao Pedro (7) and Van de Ven (14) continue to do the heavy lifting.

Derek’s Cole Fired Power (GW 77 / 3rd, Total 253 / 2nd)

Derek enjoys his first week post-wildcard, landing a solid score with captain Haaland (26), Semenyo (13), Joao Pedro (7) and Van de Ven (14) leading the way.

It wasn’t enough to hold his lead in the Baddy League, and he slipped back to second place.

Sandra’s SZ (GW 80 / 2nd, Total 197 / Last) (Wildcarded)

Sandra pulls off a successful wildcard, remodelling her team to more closely match Duy’s, the current measure of success.

Her key moves included bringing in Haaland (13), Vicario (8), Joao Pedro (7) and Lacroix (6).

Vu’s Laser (GW 72 / 5th, Total 204 / 4th)

Vu picked the right week to properly structure his team. Moving the armband from Isidor (2) to Haaland (26) paid off immediately.

Brian’s The Liabilities (GW 73 / 4th, Total 212 / 3rd)

Brian nailed his transfers this week, with Semenyo (13) and Salah (9) immediately delivering returns.

Keven’s The Assets (GW 61 / Last, Total 203 / 5th)

Last week I swapped Georginio (1) for Sarr (5). This week, I reversed course, moving Sarr (DNP) back out for Georginio (1). Two transfers well spent, if I do say so myself.

Top weekly score tracker: Duy’s Duzor with 86 in GW 1.

FPL Draft

Keven’s The Assets (51) def. Duy’s Duzor (43)

Another successful week for The Assets, with Xavi (6) and Woltemade (9) off the waiver wire making a real impact. My defence contributed a massive 38 points in total.

Duy’s gamble on new EPL arrivals Bobb (1) and Ndoye (2) didn’t pay off, but his rock-solid defence scoring 26 points almost kept him in contention.

Brian’s The Liabilities (61) def. Vu’s Laser (60)

A high-scoring affair ended with a nail-biting one point victory for Brian. Semenyo (13) lived up to his early draft pick status, while the Spurs defensive double-up of Romero (12) and Porro (6) paid off handsomely.

Vu’s late pick of Foden (12) could be the steal of the draft, and tripling up on Liverpool’s defence for 23 points proved a masterstroke that nearly snatched him the win.

Derek’s Cole Fired Palmer (42) def. by Sandra’s SZ (51)

Sandra got validation for her Van de Ven (14) pick, who did the bulk of the heavy lifting to push her over the line.

Derek lacked standout scores this week. His best performers were his Arsenal trio, Gyokeres, Eze, and Raya, each contributing 6 points.

Keep well and stay swell~
