FPL GW 9: Oh Micky, you’re so fine

FPL Classic

Duy’s Duzor (GW 53 / 4th, Total 510 / 1st) (Wildcard)

Wildcard activated, Man United representation still there, and Mbeumo (15) proving Duy knows his own team well.

Duy also had an unbelievable bench this week: Van de Ven (23), Shaw (9), Petrovic (8) and Scott (3) combined for a massive 43 points. 43 POINTS!

Derek’s Cole Fired Power (GW 24 / Last, Total 490 / 3rd)

Van de Ven sitting on Derek’s bench with 23 points almost matched his starting eleven, who managed just 24 points this week.

Derek really is one with Chelsea, with his two worst FPL weeks syncing up to Chelsea losing to Sunderland and Man United.

Sandra’s SZ (GW 51 / 6th, Total 487 / 4th)

One manager’s bench warmer is another manager’s match winner, with Van de Ven (23) saving Sandra's gameweek.

Vu’s Laser (GW 54 / 3rd, Total 481 / 5th)

What strikers do the top four have? Joao Pedro (2), Gyokeres (2), Woltemade (2) and Mateta (2).

Why settle for twos when you can have Isidor (7) and Foster (7).

Brian’s The Liabilities (GW 56 / 2nd, Total 454 / 6th)

Eze come Eze go, he has arrived with 11 points, showing Gyokeres (2) how it’s done.

Dan’s A-Cunha Matata (GW 53 / 4tht, Total 436 / Last)

The entire league captained Haaland (4), and Dan successfully selected a differential captain in Bowen (10) to slowly mount his comeback.

Credit where credit is due: fielding Rodon (13) against West Ham over Burn (2) against Fulham was a great call.

Martin’s Big M (GW 46 / 7th, Total 201 / Started GW 6)

He’s only just arrived, and Martin’s already unlocked an achievement: the only manager to go big at the back with five defenders.

Truly living up to the ‘big’ in Big M.

Keven’s The Assets (GW 58 / 1st, Total 491 / 2nd) (Bench Boost)

I wish I had Duy’s bench.

Top weekly score tracker: Duy’s Duzor with 86 points in GW 1.

Top bench score tracker: Duy’s Duzor with 43 points in GW 9.

Duy’s bench is now immortalised with a double record, can anyone beat him?

FPL Draft

Keven’s The Assets (44, 1st) def. Duy’s Duzor (43, Last)

Duy selected Cunha (8) ahead of Mbeumo (15) on draft night, and it was the difference between him winning and losing.

At least he still gets to enjoy Mbeumo’s points in classic.

Brian’s The Liabilities (49, 3rd) def. Vu’s Laser (24, 4th)

Four straight losses for Vu… holding onto double Forest defence for zero clean sheets in 9 gameweeks hasn’t helped.

Meanwhile, Thiago (5) and Sesko (4) are doing some honest work for Brian.

Derek’s Cole Fired Palmer (38, 5th) def. by Sandra’s SZ (45, 2nd)

Van de Ven (23) clutched up for Sandra in both classic and draft, adding to Derek’s misery across both game modes.

Keep well stay swell~
